Scott Bakula

Everything Scott Bakula:

I’ve had the good fortune and privilege to know this wonderful man for several years and yes, everything they say about him being “Mr. Nice Guy” is true.

It all started with my husband and Quantum Leap. I was very upset at the time to learn this show was going off the air. Granted, I’d felt that way about other shows, including Star Trek, but this was the first time I ever wrote in to try to save a show. The year was 1993 and as everyone knows, the letter-writing campaign did no good. QL ended a five season run with an enigma called “Mirror Image.”

At the same time, Richard, my wonderful husband of 33 years (2008), found a group of like-minded people on CompUServe and AOL and told me about them. I began corresponding, found out about the 1994 Los Angeles Leapcon convention, and was there front row, center, when Scott took the stage. I was hooked from that point on.
I’ve known and met a lot of celebrities in my life and call a few friends. My father worked at CBS TV in NY when I was a child, so it was natural for me to be among the famous. Scott Bakula is unique. But then, so is my husband. They both share some traits I find admirable and both men know this as I’ve told them.

In this section, I’ve shared some of these personal encounters.
